Ingredients

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 10 chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup hot sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 dash ground black pepper

Instructions

Mix the flour mixture:

  • In a small bowl, combine ½ cup all-purpose flour, ¼ teaspoon paprika, ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, and ¼ teaspoon salt.

Coat the chicken wings:

  • Place 10 chicken wings in a large dish and sprinkle the prepared flour mixture over them, ensuring they are well coated. Arrange the coated wings on a baking sheet and refrigerate uncovered for 1 hour.

Bake the wings:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C). Bake the wings for 15 minutes per side, or until they are no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear.

Prepare the hot sauce:

  • In a small saucepan over low heat, combine 2 tablespoons butter, ¼ cup hot sauce, 1 dash ground black pepper, and 1 minced garlic clove. Stir continuously for about 3 minutes until the butter melts and the sauce is well blended.

Toss the wings:

  • Place the baked wings in a serving bowl and pour the hot sauce mixture over them. Toss well to coat the wings evenly.
